Library Administrative Services Assistant (Clerk IV)
The Library Administrative Services Assistant (Clerk IV) is a confidential position that is responsible for all activities involved with hiring student employees for all operating units of the Libraries, including data entry and verifying student payroll, monitoring and reviewing Kronos student reports, maintaining student personnel records and files, and producing expenditure reports of monthly encumbrances. The incumbent will liaison with Financial Aid, Student Employment, and the campus payroll office within the Division of Human Resources, as well as internal departments within the Libraries. The Library Administrative Services Assistant will also review attendance reporting for the University Library system, focusing on accuracy, special instructions and compliance with Library and University requirements. Provide administrative support to the Director of Administrative Services on all staff orientation and training projects for library employees, and perform tasks related to logistics for training and staff professional development workshops in the Administrative Services Office of the University Library.
