The Williston Northampton School has a part-time academic year shift work position available immediately. The expectation would be 1 to 2 shifts per week, these shifts are a mixture of 15-hour overnights and 24-hour weekends and are paid at a flat rate per shift. Most of the shift is on-call with specific hours set aside each day for open clinic hours.
Candidates need to possess strong assessment and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties may include but are not limited to: triaging students acute and chronic conditions; treat illnesses; maintain accurate documentation; act as advocate for students needs and serve as liaison between parents and faculty; assist with administration of medications according to parent/physician instructions; maintain the HWC in a clean, orderly and safe condition; dispose of biomedical waste and hazards according to established procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse community. A strict sense of confidentiality is a must. Pediatric/adolescent experience is preferred.
