Administrative Support Staff Member
Town of Hatfield
Full-time position provides administrative support to Town Administrator, Executive Assistant and various departments, boards and committees, including Planning Board, Board of Health, Conservation Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals.
Attends meetings and serves as record keeper of meeting minutes.
Performs a variety of office administration duties including but not limited to bills payables, cash transactions, processes licenses/permits, coordination of annual town report, assembles Transfer Station logistics and costs, maintains and updates records.
Assists the public, other town departments, governmental agencies and vendors by furnishing a variety of routine information and assistance resolving minor problems and complaints.
Performs information and referral services to the general public and other related duties.
Performs similar or related work as required.
Recommended minimum qualifications include High School diploma or equivalent; two years of progressively responsible municipal administrative/clerical experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel, required.
Working knowledge of municipal government and municipal finance.
Starting hourly pay rate $14.50 - $15.00 depending on experience.
