Systems Database Administrator
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) at Western New England University seeks an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Systems Database Administrator. Primary responsibility will be in the implementation, administration, and support for Ellucian's Colleague SQL Server data management environment, as well as peripheral databases and interfaces. This position requires a high sense of initiative, follow-through, and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
Minimum applicant requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical discipline; 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience administering SQL Server databases in an enterprise server environment; experience working with Windows servers in a virtualized environment; and experience administering Ellucian Colleague systems highly desirable.
