Community Outreach Specialist(s) - Would you like to work to help people live their best lives? We are looking for people who want to make a difference and help build community. As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will support the independence of adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Brattleboro area. Your work is to have fun while supporting the people we serve to be a part of their community. This is an opportunity to help others learn a variety of skills. Unlike many other jobs, no 2 days are likely to be the same here. In this role, it is important to be comfortable supporting people who use a wheelchair. There may be support needed with some personal care tasks. Compassion for others is crucial, as is the desire to learn. Case Manager I AMHAS (37.5 hrs/wk) - HCRS is accepting applications for a full time Case Manager who will be strengths-based, highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and an understanding of co-occurring issues. Position is based in Brattleboro. The Case Manager, will partner with community agencies to provide screening, service coordination, and outreach for individuals who might otherwise be hospitalized, incarcerated, or fall between the cracks. Partnerships will include local law enforcement, shelters, primary care, housing authorities, local peer supports such as the Turning Point Centers, and others. Residential Specialist(s) Per-Diem/(2) Full time - Positions Available in Bellows Falls, Vermont - HCRS Residential Programs are currently hiring both Full time and Per-Diem Residential Specialists on all shifts (7am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, and 11:00-7:30). We are looking for self-confident, compassionate, flexible and dependable people to support a young woman in increasing life and relationship skills through activities, community integration, one on one support, and role modeling. The ideal candidate would be one that enjoys being a member of a community with a shared purpose, incorporates their interests/skills into their work, maintains healthy boundaries, works well in a team, enjoys a diverse work day, brings positive energy, and is open to utilizing multiple perspectives and ways of responding to emotional and social distress.
