The Town of Russell is seeking to hire a part time Chief of Police.
Resumes and letters of interest are being accepted until June 19, 2017. With an anticipated hire date of August 1, 2017.
Minimum qualifications, as follows, to be considered for the position:
Basic Reserve/Intermittent Certification from the MPTC .
A college degree in Criminal Justice, public administration or business is preferred. The candidate must have at least seven (7) years experience in law enforcement with at least four (4) years in law enforcement administration.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
A valid class A LTC from Massachusetts.
First responder and CPR certified. Certificates of completion must be provided.
Must be flexible and willing to work all hours, to include weekends, evenings and holidays as necessary.
