Director of Facilities
Community Action of the Franklin, Hampshire, and North Quabbin Regions, a non-profit multi-service agency serving 27,000 people a year in western Mass., announces a new and exciting opportunity to provide innovative leadership as Director of Facilities. The Director of Facilities will oversee the overall management of agency facilities and building safety throughout Franklin, Hampshire, and Western Hampden counties, including 11 Early Education and Care sites. This includes ongoing assessment, monitoring, reporting and planning, ensuring healthy and safe physical environments for very young children and their families, participants/clients, and staff in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and guidelines. This position reports to the Director of Operations and supervises all Facilities staff.
The qualifications of the position include: Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent combination of related education and experience, current MA Construction Supervisor or trade license, 5 years supervisory and facilities management experience, experience with bidding of capital projects, short and long-term planning, and use of assessment, monitoring, and reporting systems. Must have knowledge of local, state and federal building codes.
