Marketing Data Analyst
Division of Continuing & Professional Education
The Data Analyst is part of a marketing team at UMass Amherst Division of Continuing & Professional Education (CPE) and performs ongoing analysis of data from lead generation and other marketing campaigns. Duties include creating reports, benchmarks, and related analyses of CPE and campus partner lead generation and marketing activities. The Data Analyst works with CPE's Director of Marketing and Recruitment and CPE campus peers on data collection, market research and impactful analysis of data from all available sources to inform effective decision-making regarding new and ongoing marketing campaigns and campaign components; advise on lead cultivation, management and conversion strategies; and provide recommendations related to new program development. The Data Analyst works across CPE campus partners to identify trends in messaging to new and prospective students, faculty, and campus leadership.
Bachelor's degree plus four years working knowledge and experience in data analysis. Experience with: Salesforce or similar CRM, Tableau or similar data analytics tools and advanced experience with Excel. Strong project management skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and creatively with varied audiences.
Hiring Salary: Salary range associated to Level 26 ($41,900-$63,100; normal starting salary range $41,900-$52,500). For details on UMass Amherst salary levels visit:
