The City of Cortez is accepting applications for a part-time Outreach/Marketing Assistant at the Cortez Public Library.
This position is 18 hours per week. Job responsibilities include promotion of all Library programs and services using any advertising tools available; design and produce print promotional items to advertise adult and children's services; coordinates Library's social media accounts; responsible for the front desk when assigned.
Qualifications are: must have functional knowledge or ability to quickly learn public Library organizations and collections; Library of Congress Subject Headings; Machine Readable Cataloging Records; Dewey Decimal Classification system; must have excellent computer skills; must be skilled in technology software; must be able to operate Library system equipment; must be able to maintain files and records; must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have two year's work related experience; must have a valid Colorado driver license.
Beginning wage is $12.60/hour.
