Position Summary & Essential Duties:UH Laboratory Services Foundation (UHLSF) is a not-for-profit independent outreach laboratory, operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of UH.The Vice President has full responsibility for planning, operational management, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, administrative control and coordination for a UHLSF, outpatient outreach laboratory services business. Specific accountabilities include:Support the planning, growth, and operational management including oversight of P & L, quality of service, patient and client satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.Responsible for the sales and marketing efforts associated with UHLSF Develop and scale logistics function to support UHLSF and broader portfolio of UH mobile assets (home care, pharmacy, post-acute providers, etc).Drive and lead an environment of operational excellence and performance improvement to support the execution of local and system strategic plans. Drives best practices through the organization.Drives revenue growth, revenue diversification, operational efficiency, and expense management.Effective management of capital and human resources for all services.Acts as a primary interface between UHLSF within UHHS and outside of UH. Serves as President for the UHLSF non-profit entity

Experience & Knowledge:Ten to Fifteen years' leadership experience in a healthcare setting, including previous experience in outpatient &/or mobile lab operations required.
Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT):Clinical credential preferred (RN, EMT, PharmD, etc)Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or business related field requiredMaster's Degree strongly preferred.
