Assist physicians with patients’ examinations.
Obtain vital signs of patients.
Provide wound care including sutures, staple removal, and dressing/redressing of wounds.
Prepare patient charts and obtain lab reports and x-rays.
Schedule patients for tests and surgeries.
Obtain insurance pre-certifications.
Reconcile register and computer appointment.
Call and return calls to patients for needed medical information.
Assist with home health agencies and product representatives.
Perform other duties as may be required by supervisor.
Attend educational meetings to keep current regarding new procedures or products.
Prepare and maintain supplies in exam rooms.
Sterilize and clean instruments.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a medical assistant and must be currently ceritifed.
