Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team.
Job Requirements:
1- Massachusetts Dental Assisting license.
2- Radiology Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including the placement and adjustment of braces and other orthodontic appliances.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about oral hygiene, care instructions, and the importance of following treatment plans.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office.
Skills
- Experience in Orthodontic assisting is highly desirable. Willing to train the right person.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and team members.
- A compassionate approach towards working with children in a dental clinic setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week
