Vice President, Client Services
Location: Regional to an ECT office location | Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Are you a visionary leader ready to shape the future of client engagement and business growth? Join ECT as our Vice President of Client Services—a newly created leadership role designed to drive sustained growth and elevated client outcomes across the firm.
Within the extended leadership team, you will lead the charge in building and scaling a high-performance, market-driven client services organization. This will require partnering with firm leadership to define strategy, develop talent, and implement systems that fuel long-term revenue growth and account expansion.

Primary Responsibilities
- Set and deliver bold growth targets ranging from annual bookings goals to broader strategic growth initiatives consistent with ECT’s long-term strategic vision.
- Drive market expansion by developing and executing on prioritized business objectives and building a robust pipeline of qualified leads and growth opportunities.
- Establish and refine our business development approach that supports scalable, sustained growth such as lead generation, account satisfaction, and client onboarding.
- Support successful collaboration and coordination between client services, operations, and technical teams to deliver high-quality, profitable projects.
- Foster a culture of team excellence and accountability as you lead the Client Services Team consisting of initially 10-12 Market Leaders, Account Directors, and Consulting Project Managers with anticipated future expansion.
- Implement and refine systems and tools—including CRM platforms and project management standards—that enable data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to anticipate evolving business needs and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Position Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive performance and leadership in professional services in a growth-oriented business development, client services, or related leadership role ideally in environmental or engineering consulting organizations.
- Proven success in strategic sales, account growth, organizational planning, and reporting. Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint CRM is a plus.
- A history of high-performing team leadership and delivering profitable, client-centric solutions. As this team evolves, so will the emphasis on project-related metrics.
- Effective communication and executive presence with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Direct experience in project management and/or consulting roles is desired to lead growth efforts and support this team’s expansion over time to include project management leadership within the Client Services Team most effectively.
Position Metrics
- Annual Bookings Goal: Achieve annual sales targets that align with ECT’s strategic business plan and long-term growth objectives.
- Market Expansion: Develop strategy and business planning resulting in desired market and key account growth; secure new client relationships that diversify and strengthen ECT’s portfolio.
- Client Retention & Growth: Deepen existing client relationships, increasing account value and loyalty through exceptional service and strategic engagement.
- Individual Team Metrics: Ownership for reporting staff metrics, which will be bookings and growth based, with an additional focus on project profitability and client experience over time.
