Wareham Pediatric Associates is looking to hire a full-time LPN Staff Nurse. Wareham Pediatrics is a well-established medium-sized private pediatric practice that has been serving the Wareham area for over 40 years. Wareham Pediatrics has a patient centered medical home and is affiliated with the PPOC. This position is responsible for assisting providers to contribute to the smooth delivery of excellent patient care. The responsibilities of this position include rooming patients, taking vital signs, and assisting providers with any procedures that are necessary. The administration of all injections including immunizations and completing all documentation pertinent to injections. Performing EKG's and finger sticks. Clearing the exam rooms of equipment, clear table paper and disinfect rooms between patients, and periodically checking for medical supplies and then restocking as needed. The responsibilities also include providing triage advice to patients and families, developing appropriate relationships with patients and families, and providing high quality patient care. The staff nurse contributes towards teamwork and the attainment of quality goals for the patient and the practice. The ideal candidate is very friendly, is highly organized, has excellent computer and EMR skills. The ideal candidate is also able to anticipate what will contribute to a positive visit for the patient and family. The candidate must be flexible, have excellent attendance and be able to work in a busy environment. Experience in a pediatric office setting is preferred but not required. This position is a non-exempt position. 32 or 40 hours per week, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. This position is also part of the weekend rotation, which is approximately 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, one Saturday per month. There is a weekend shift differential. The LPN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager and the Practice Administrator with input from assigned Physician or Nurse Practitioner. The candidate must have a current Covid-19 and Flu immunization or be willing to receive one.
