Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for an Emergency Room assignment in Massachusetts requiring an active MA RN license and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital Emergency Room setting
- Night shift position with standard hours of 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (4x12 hours), rare flexibility for shift start within a four-hour window for urgent needs
- Patient population consists of emergency and trauma patients
- 13-week contract assignment
- Must pass Tele exam on first attempt to continue assignment
- Requires compliance with a 200-mile minimum radius from the facility for travel status eligibility
- Annual and pre-start training modules required, recorded in Workday
- Travelers with prior disciplinary actions on nursing license are not eligible
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active MA RN license is required and must be in hand prior to consideration
- Minimum of 1.5 years recent Emergency Room RN experience required
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
- Must provide two professional references, including one from a Nurse Manager or higher
- Must successfully complete a pass/fail EKG (Tele) test during orientation with a required passing score of 80%
- Completion of required pre-start and orientation modules is mandatory
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
