\nJob Description\n
The Charge Nurse coordinates total nursing care for patients and participates in patient and family education. This role provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other personnel to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice within the clinical setting. As a Charge Nurse, you may also be asked to serve as a backup.

- Coordinate total nursing care for patients.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Provide leadership in the clinical setting.
- Ensure adherence to nursing professional standards.
- May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg as needed.

\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
- \n
- 2 years of recent Med Surg Rehab experience required.
- Charge RN experience is required.
- Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Active Vermont state nursing license.
- ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required.
- Must have reliable transportation; public transport is not available in the area.
