Position: Ultrasound Technologist (General & Vascular)\n\nFacility: Beverly Hospital (Part of BILH Health System)\nLocations: Beverly, MA – with potential float to Addison Gilbert Hospital & Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers, MA\nContract Length: 13 Weeks\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nShift Details\n\nSchedule: Mixed Shifts + Weekend Requirement\n\nThursdays: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM\n\nFriday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM\n\nHours Guaranteed: 72 Hours Biweekly (On-call hours not included in guarantee)\n\nFloat Requirement: Yes — may float to Addison Gilbert Hospital or Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers\n\nWeekend Requirement: Required\n\nHoliday/Call Rotation: As needed\n\nPosition Overview\n\nThe Ultrasound Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic general and vascular ultrasound exams and procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This includes performing exams for OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations while maintaining patient safety and quality care standards.\n\nRequirements\n\nExperience:\n\nMinimum of 2 years of recent General and Vascular Ultrasound experience\n\nMust be flexible to work across multiple departments and sites as needed\n\nCertifications:\n\nRequired: ARDMS (Abdomen + Vascular) and BLS\n\nBILH Requirement: Must be separated for 6+ months from any previous BILH position (perm, per diem, or contract)\n\nCoversheet: BILH coversheet required at submission\n\nTravel Distance: Locals subject to BILH policy\n\nJob Duties\n\nPerform diagnostic ultrasound exams and assist in procedures for general and vascular studies.\n\nServe patients in OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings.\n\nEnsure patient comfort, safety, and quality imaging standards.\n\nMaintain equipment and follow department protocols.\n\nSupport departmental coverage needs, including holidays and on-call rotations as needed.\n\nSummary\n\nThis position offers a great opportunity for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist skilled in both Vascular and General Ultrasound to work within a respected Massachusetts healthcare system. The technologist must be adaptable, patient-focused, and comfortable working across multiple sites.
