Shift is 8a-4p with weekly pay ranging from $30 to $35 an hour. The temporary duties would start on June 9th, 2025 and last for six months.

Experience &amp; Education:

ABOUT THE POSITION The Stabilization Case Manager supports families as they transition from shelter to permanent housing and continues services for up to two years to prevent homelessness and promote long-term stability. Using a strengths-based, person-centered approach, the Case Manager meets families in shelter and at home, builds individualized service plans, connects families to resources, and collaborates closely with landlords, courts, health providers, workforce partners, and CSR teams to improve family well-being and housing stability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct monthly home visits across Boston; make referrals to community resources and partner toward long-term stability and family independence. • Complete CSR stabilization assessments; establish and monitor EOHLC service plans that address barriers to maintaining housing. • Coach families on lease compliance and stabilization plans; mediate with landlords; provide housing counseling and referrals to prevent loss of housing. • Coordinate legal services and support appeals/mediation; attend housing court as needed for subsidy termination or eviction matters. • Increase economic self-sufficiency by partnering with CSR Workforce Development, supporting financial literacy, budgeting, savings, and benefits enrollment. • Support access to health coverage and primary care; make referrals and manage crises per agency policy. • Maintain complete, timely records and required data reporting (e.g., HUD assessments—intake/update/exit, case notes, Stabilization Housing Plan, incident reports). • Provide quarterly collateral check-ins; maintain positive relationships with landlords and housing providers. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Rutland Count Head Start also offers Early Head Start programming for infants and toddlers. Duties We are looking for an experienced Specialized Support Assistant in Early Childhood at Rutland County Head Start. As a Specialized Support Assistant, you will work directly with children in an inclusive early childhood setting to support participation and skill development for 33-35 hours per week. This position will also work in our new developmental classroom learning about assessment, individualized support plans, and child development. This is an opportunity to work in early childhood education and special education. Rutland County Head Start's new innovative developmental support project is one of a kind and we work in partnership with Rutland City Public Schools and Children's Integrated Services. This position is right for an early childhood educator who is looking for experience in the field and plans on building a career in early childhood special education or for an experienced professional with an appropriate degree or credentials. The Specialized Support Assistant will assist the Lead Teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum which is individualized to each child using a strengths-based approach and assist with classroom management. This position will implement individual plans provided by the Disability Manager and collect a variety of behavioral data as directed by the Disability Manager. Other responsibilities include supporting student learning activities, implementing behavior management strategies, and collaborating with staff to monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers. Requirements 
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education/special education, behavioral psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.</li>
<li>Some college coursework required, experience in applied behavior analysis/behavior management, special education, and/or disabilities preferred.</li>
<li>Licensure in Early Childhood Special Education or certification as a Registered Behavior Technician preferred.</li>
<li>Previous experience working with young children in a group setting required.</li>
<li>Professional integrity: reliability, honesty, patience, strong communication skills, and ability to collaborate.</li>
<li>Knowledge of child development, special education, applied behavior analysis, mental health, or related fields.</li>
<li>Ability to work with expert professionals and implement plans and ask questions when not familiar with the programming.</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.</li>

Job Purpose:
The Peer Support Specialist builds connections with others who live with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or traumatic histories. This position is designed to foster a safe and welcoming environment in the Northeast Recovery Learning Community by facilitating peer-run groups within assigned domains and preferably in the Metro North and/or North Shore areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Facilitate weekly peer support groups that focus on mental health recovery and wellness </li>
<li>Provide 1-1 peer support to members of the NERLC community, as needed</li>
<li>Share personal recovery story with peers to help build trusting and mutual relationships </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Regularly contribute to the expansion of the NERLC information and referral database to include other resources relevant to recovery, resiliency, and wellness</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assist in the expansion of the NERLC’s programming on recovery, resiliency and wellness</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Provide up-to-date information, including specific contact names, for any individual seeking services related to recovery, resiliency, or wellness</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Document all requests for information and the subsequent referrals made</li>
<li>As needed, locate sources for new information, provider sites and individual contacts to better meet the needs of those requesting information from the NERLC</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assists in the monthly collection and reporting of data </li>
</ul>

<li>Must have completed, or be willing to complete group facilitation training within the first 12 months of employment</li>
<li>Sensitivity to and understanding of all types of oppression, particularly the issues faced by those in recovery of mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or traumatic histories</li>
<li>Must be able to work independently and as part of a team</li>
<li>Access to reliable transportation</li>
<li>Bi-lingual/bi-cultural candidates are highly desirable</li>
<li>Experience working with Criminal Justice sector preferred</li>

Review Policy:
Supervisor will complete performance appraisal with employee at the completion of a six-month probation period. Job duties and assignments will be reviewed at this time. Thereafter, performance appraisals will be completed and reviewed annually.
