Job Description:

Pay Range: $21.00- $30.00 per hour
Part Time Afternoons
The LEAP School seeks enthusiastic, dedicated, &amp; caring Teachers to join our teaching team. Full Time and Afternoon positions available for now, July and September, at our Lexington, Bedford, and Sudbury locations. We offer extensive training in a supportive learning environment and small class sizes. Sense of humor helpful!
Desired Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>1 year+ of experience teaching Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschoolers</li>
<li>College degree</li>
<li>Certified Teacher, Early Childhood Education (ECE), or Child Development Associate (CDA)</li>
</ul>
You must be EEC (Early Education &amp; Care) qualified or in the process of becoming qualified. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Job Description:

<li>Design and implement curriculum for your toddler/preschool classroom</li>
<li>Maintain your classroom environment to support the needs of your students</li>
<li>Develop meaningful relationships with your students to allow you to individualize your teaching to meet their needs</li>
<li>Collaborate with and support your fellow teachers on a consistent basis</li>
<li>Use our communication tools to develop relationships with the parents of our students</li>
<li>Fully participate in professional development opportunities including weekly supervision, ongoing trainings, paid planning time, staff meetings and curriculum meetings</li>

<li>Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)</li>
<li>Assist with client’s shopping.</li>
<li>Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.</li>
<li>Be a pleasant and supportive companion.</li>
<li>Report any unusual incidents.</li>
<li>Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.</li>
