Job Purpose:
Cleans and prepares cabins and common areas by meeting established standards of cleanliness and propriety to assure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassures guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.

<li>Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings including using a duster to reach vents and ceiling corners to remove dust and cobwebs.</li>
<li>Strips bed of all linen and remakes with fresh linen, checking bedspread, blankets and bed pads for cleanliness, replacing if soiled. Lifts mattresses to check for soil between mattresses and under bed.</li>
<li>Checks closet for cleanliness, wiping closet door, handle and overhead shelves and restocking the cabin supplies such as hangers, extra blankets and pillows.</li>
<li>Vacuums cabin and public areas, operating vacuums weighing up to 25lbs., and lifting/moving heavy furniture in order to vacuum entire area of carpet including underneath furniture and hard to reach areas.</li>
<li>Inspects all door and window locks to ensure they are in working order and immediately alerts management to an unsecured or unsafe situation for the safety of guests and employees.</li>
<li>Inspects all cabin equipment (TV, lights/lamps, faucets, radios) to ensure proper working order and immediately reports all room status and room maintenance deficiencies, in writing, to their supervisor for prompt repair/resolution.</li>
<li>Secures and maintains custody of equipment and supplies at all times in order to protect and preserve Outpost property.</li>
<li>Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.</li>
<li>Assists with laundry by retrieving soiled linen, sorting laundry into correct size loads, utilizing industrial washers, dryers and pressers, folding and distributing the cleaned linen to storage accordingly.</li>
<li>Cleans patio areas by sweeping or hosing the floor and wiping down all furniture and fixtures, picking up garbage and cleaning patio doors and windows.</li>
<li>Provides assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and Outpost.</li>

This job requires the ability to perform the following:

Compensation:

Catholic Charities of Worcester County is seeking a full-time medication specialist.
Primary Responsibility: The Medication Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing resident and patient medications and facilitating the ability of the residents to continue their prescribed medications across the continuum of care and transitions in providers.
Essential Duties:
<ul>
<li>Observing and supporting residents take their medications as prescribed.</li>
<li>Directly connecting residents to providers and prescribers to start and/or continue medications.</li>
<li>Working with providers and pharmacies to coordinate refills and to prevent individuals from running out of medications.</li>
<li>Monitoring medication adherence and notifying the appropriate team member when a medication is taken incorrectly.</li>
<li>Maintaining an accurate record of medications which remain in the possession of residents.</li>
<li>Maintaining accurate documentation of all medication stored and disposal of.</li>
<li>Ensuring the medication refrigerator is in working condition and refrigerator temps are recorded daily.</li>
<li>Ensuring the smooth return and release of medications to individuals at time of discharge.</li>
<li>Stocking the medication room with the appropriate supplies such as medicine cups, counting trays and spatula, and cleaning those supplies regularly to prevent buildup of medication residue.</li>
<li>Witnessing medication disposal and ensuring disposal is completed on a regularly scheduled basis to prevent accumulation of medications.</li>
<li>Checking and replacing expired facility-supplied medications, including first aid kit supplies and naloxone (Narcan) rescue kits.</li>
<li>Orienting new residents to program’s medication policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Training new and existing staff on the programs medication policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Arranging for program staff to receive annual naloxone training and ongoing medication management education, including scheduling external trainers to come onsite.</li>
<li>Reporting medication errors and incidents to the Supervisor and other regulatory authorities as required.</li>
<li>Responsible for all lab samples and resident lab sampling schedules.</li>
<li>Participate in regularly scheduled Treatment Team and Monthly Staff Meetings and the many in-service trainings required of this position.</li>

Knowledge/Experience:

<li>Successfully completing the formal Medication Management Specialist Training through BSAS.</li>
<li>CPR-First Aid Certified and Overdose Prevention/Narcan training capable.</li>
