The Role:

Position Requirements

<li>Functions as the Maintenance Supervisor at various communities to which assigned.</li>
<li>Manage all building services and preventative maintenance programs consistent with industry best practice, Avanath's Standard Operating Procedures, and in compliance with the State/Federal Govt./OSHA's Codes/regulations.</li>
<li>Supervise the day-to-day operations, including but not limited to heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing and piping; fire protection; building automation and maintenance systems; and general building maintenance and troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Prioritize and schedule maintenance work, assuring quality of work consistent with Avanath's standards. </li>
<li>Manage the Maintenance Technicians to ensure all service requests are completed within Avanath standards and are appropriately and accurately documented.</li>

<li>Manage the maintenance spare parts and the tools inventory, determining which parts/tools to stock and their stock level, and working directly with Community Manager to maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies within budget.</li>
<li>Maintain shop appearance and all mechanical, supply, electrical, and storage facilities on site.</li>
<li>Ensure proper maintenance of equipment to ensure warranty compliance and extend its useful life.</li>
<li>Oversee all other contracted work in the building, obtaining bids and negotiating prices with vendors and contractors, as approved by the Community Manager or the Regional Manager.</li>
<li>Coordinate deliveries, schedules, and performance of all facility-related vendors.</li>
<li>Ensure proper safety procedures are followed, personal protective equipment is used, and health &amp; safety policies are enforced.</li>
<li>Manage process for keying and coring/coding of locks and maintain lock procedures, logbooks, and protocols for key management and security.</li>
<li>Effectively implement standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance programs according to Avanath's standards.</li>
<li>Take part in emergency preparedness planning and act as essential personnel in emergencies.</li>
<li>Escalate unique or urgent repairs/replacements to Community Manager and the Director of Building Services.</li>

All Security Officers, under the direction of the Safety and Risk Management Department, are responsible for the execution of all security operations, emergency response and fire safety operations for Jay Peak Resort. They are responsible for providing protection to all land, building, employees and guests of Jay Peak while they are in or on the land, building and property owned or managed by Jay Peak. All Security Officers are part of a team that insures a safe environment for guests and associates. This involves patrolling, documenting, reporting, and following-up on safety and security hazards or infractions. Security Officers may also be required to carry out more general guest service tasks, such as delivering items to guest rooms. Security Officers must remain calm in emergencies and can balance great guest and associate relations with safety and security. Security Officers shall execute all security operations, emergency response and fire safety operation plans which seek to maintain a safe and secure environment. This plan shall be accomplished by the training and development of security officers, who are scheduled to specific security assignment in order to patrol and monitor all company property. * Evenings shifts, including weekends, possible overnight shifts&nbsp;and special events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES All Security Officers shall be well trained and versed in; (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

<li>The execution of all patrol operations, crisis management, emergency response and fire safety, physical security, information protection, incident management and/or investigation.</li>
<li>They must also work to prevent damage and losses by executing all operations plans and enforcing security and fire safety policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Patrol operations shall consist of, but not limited to, tracked rounds and surveillance of all land, building and property (present and under construction) owned or managed by Jay Peak.</li>
<li>These may include directed patrol of high traffic and incident areas, such as outside the dining facilities (where large numbers of skis are left during the day and early evening hours) and in the liquor licensed areas (bars, restaurants and convenience store).</li>
<li>Crisis management/emergency response, incident reporting, management and investigation shall consist of, but not limited to, response to injured employees and guests for proper first aid, CPR or AED treatment.</li>
<li>Motor vehicle accidents, incidents of criminal nature or Jay Peak guest conduct (such as theft, vandalism, assaults, smoke/fire/protection alarms, noise disturbances, animal complaints, open fires, and intoxicated persons or employees).</li>
<li>Daily fire safety inspections designed to meet State of Vermont requirements.</li>
<li>Use good judgment in awkward situations, knowing when to consult with management before moving forward.</li>
<li>Be prepared to speak with knowledge to the amenities that the resort and our local communities have to offer.</li>

The Vermont law School has 22 buildings on 15 acres in the town of South Royalton Vermont. The General Maintenance Technician I is an important member of the Buildings and Grounds crew, responsible for performing a wide range of skilled building maintenance, repair and assisting in construction projects. The General Maintenance Technician I will assist with emergencies on campus and provide aid to staff, faculty and students as requested.&nbsp;
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Details
 Our leading-edge engineering firm is looking for a seasoned Security Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of large-scale integrated security systems, network components, and workstations. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to work on exciting projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li> Install, configure, and maintain large-scale integrated security systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.</li>
<li> Troubleshoot and repair system and network issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring the continued operation of security systems.</li>
<li> Implement IP addressing and subnetting strategies to optimize network performance and security.</li>
<li> Design and manage IP video network transmission systems, ensuring high-quality video transmission and reception.</li>
<li> Regularly inspect and test security systems, identifying and addressing potential weaknesses or vulnerabilities.</li>
<li> Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security strategies, ensuring the protection of company assets and data.</li>
<li> Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes as necessary.</li>
<li> Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients, explaining complex security systems and processes in a clear and understandable manner.</li>
<li> Comply with all relevant safety and regulatory standards, ensuring the safe and legal operation of all security systems.</li>
</ul>
 Basic Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>1+ year of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large-scale integrated security systems</li>
<li>Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of network components and workstation and server operating system management</li>
<li>Must be willing and able to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; differentiate types/colors of wire, carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted</li>
<li>Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations </li>
<li>Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship</li>
</ul>
 Preferred Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma </li>
<li>3+ years’ experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large-scale integrated security systems</li>
<li>Massachusetts Class D Electrical License </li>
<li>Ability to read/understand design and construction documents</li>
</ul>
