Customer Support Specialist
Peabody, MA
About the Role
Preowned Auto Logistics (PAL) is growing and seeking aCustomer Support Specialistto deliver exceptional service to our customers. This role is ideal for someone with experience in customer service, customer support, or customer successwho enjoys problem-solving, communicating with customers, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely responses, accurate information, and positive customer experience from booking through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers viaphone, email, and live chat
- Assist customers withtracking, and issue resolutionrelated to vehicle shipments
- Communicate with internal teams to coordinate transportation and delivery updates
- Resolve customer concerns using a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Document customer interactions and transactions accurately inCRM systems (HubSpot, CargoTel- training provided)
- Educate customers on service options, pricing, and company policies
- Support escalated customer cases and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, accuracy, and responsiveness
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience inCustomer Support, Customer Service, or Customer Success
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using CRM software preferred (HubSpot training provided)
- Proficiency withMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience
- Experience inauto transportation, logistics, or automotive servicesis a plus
