Job Summary:The Business Analyst supports enterprise data strategy initiatives by analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality business systems documentation. This role bridges technical data work and business operations, requiring strong analytical skills, communication, SQL familiarity, and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable technical requirements.Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements.
- Analyze data from varied production systems and data platforms.
- Support development teams across SDLC phases including analysis, design, and testing.
- Communicate objectives, scope, plans, and results clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into well-defined technical requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Break down high-level objectives into detailed, process-level documentation.
- Collaborate across diverse organizations to advance data and system initiatives.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related analytical field.
- 8+ years’ experience as a business or data analyst developing requirement documents, analyzing data, and supporting software development.
- Strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills.
- Proven experience gathering requirements and planning with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate detailed data needs and translate them into business insights.
- Ability to communicate plans, objectives, and results clearly and effectively.
