Job Title: Territory Sales Manager (Outside Sales)

Location: Abington, MA (Territory: Central, MA)

Compensation: Starting at $90,000+ base salary + bonus potential + car allowance + full benefits


About the Opportunity

We are expanding our sales team and seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to grow and manage accounts within the Franklin to Worcester territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a true hunter mentality who thrives on building relationships, developing business, and driving revenue.

Our ideal candidate has experience selling into industries such as paving, construction services, or tools and knows how to balance managing existing customer relationships with aggressively seeking out new business opportunities.


This role offers a strong base salary, aggressive commission structure, and the chance to make a significant impact in a growing business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
  • Build and expand a client base through relationship development, cold calling, and consistent follow-up.
  • Prepare job estimates and proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Maximize sales efforts by focusing time on the most profitable opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to qualify leads and identify new opportunities.
  • Develop competitive sales solutions and pricing strategies.
  • Communicate and present the company’s value proposition to customers.
  • “Ask for the order” and close business opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale to ensure long-term business relationships.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; paving or construction industry knowledge strongly valued.
  • Multiple years of proven success as a commercial sales representative in paving, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success balancing account management with business development.
  • Consultative selling approach with strong closing skills and a hunter mindset.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in account management, pipeline management, and customer service best practices.
