We offer multiple openings for the Manufacturing Chemist II position across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, providing an opportunity to join a growing company in the biotech industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with GMP standards and safety protocols.
- Proactively identify and report safety hazards and incidents.
- Accurately complete GMP documentation and review basic records such as logbooks.
- Assist in revising procedures under direct supervision.
- Participate in investigations and support execution of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Contribute to small-scale continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform assigned production activities, ensuring all required training is completed and compliant prior to operations.
- Apply basic problem-solving skills to identify abnormal results and escalate issues appropriately.
- Demonstrate proficiency in designated process areas.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in pH testing, aseptic techniques, buffer preparation, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and general chemistry.
- Experience with GMP standards.
- Knowledge of basic laboratory instrumentation, including the use of pH meters, UV instrumentation, and solution delivery systems.
- Two or more years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with college-level coursework in Chemistry or equivalent work experience preferred.
- A biotechnology certificate or college degree is preferred.
- Performance and other experience can be considered pending discretion.

The position is based in a GMP environment with a team-oriented and supportive atmosphere. Employees enjoy a collaborative and intimate setting, encouraging both fun and productivity. Current openings include 1st shift, 2nd shift with a 15% differential, and 3rd shift with a 20% differential. Our team is dedicated to teamwork and making a positive impact in the biotech industry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.25/hr.
