We are looking for a Controller to join our client's team. This Controller role could take someone who has supervisory experience and is ready for the next step up or an Accounting Manager ready for the next step up!!! In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting, reconciliation, and compliance. This position will oversee a team of 3 and support management with financial reporting. This company is willing to train the right person with management experience or take an experienced individual for the role!
Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial data.
• Oversee account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
• Manage and maintain accounting software systems, ensuring optimal functionality and data accuracy.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and development.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and account reconciliation.
• Expertise in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems and tools, ERP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage and mentor team members.
