ADMR Solutions has been retained on a search for an experienced and dynamic Human Resources professional to lead all aspects of HR at a mission critical manufacturing site located in the south-central region of Massachusetts in Worcester County. Our client is a $1B global manufacturer of high precision machined component parts and full finished products used in wide variety of industrial applications with extensive customer base in private, public and government sectors.


The site employs more than 200 hardworking and dedicated people comprised of management, salaried and hourly (union and non-union) employees across 3 shifts, 24 hours a day 7 days a week – although the weekends shifts are mainly overtime and the third shift is quite small. Direct reports include a Senior HR Generalist and an HR Specialist.


This position plays a critical role in shaping and executing people strategies in an hourly workforce setting, with an emphasis on union labor relations, employee engagement and management team development. The ideal candidate is both a business partner and an HR subject matter expert with proven leadership in manufacturing environments. This position is expected to work ONSITE 4-5 days per week with schedule flexibility to allow for work-life balance. **Relocation Benefits Are Available**


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years managing a small HR team.
  • Prior experience working with collective bargaining agreements and building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with union employees and their representatives.
  • Good business acumen and demonstrated ability manage complex issues through collaboration and influence with senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and desire to work in both a management and hands-on tactical capacity; willing to roll up sleeves and add value wherever needed.
  • Demonstrated grit with success in sustaining organizational change initiatives.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, organizational development, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Experience working as part of a large, global HR team and collaborating on best practices across sites.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) or advanced degrees are always a plus but not required.
