Shipping Clerk, GDC shift - REQUIRES WEEKEND WORK
Essential functions include: to perform multiple clerical functions and to support shipping office; to prepare the outbound paperwork that accompanies the stores’ deliveries; to prepare envelopes and general delivery receipts at least one day in advance to eliminate delays in processing store packets upon load completion; to complete the general delivery receipts with the store number, date, pallet quantities and seals issued, etc.; to check all invoices to assure proper item selection; to verify selection copy of invoice and store copy of invoice agree; to record by commodity all red-lines on separate “NS” sheets and to submit these sheets to Inventory Control to credit the stores for product they did not receive; to finalize and marry (if necessary) store packets according to the stores listed on the loading diagrams; and to sort store mail/pouches and distribute accordingly.

Essential Skills:

Candidate qualifications: High school diploma; must have knowledge of Microsoft Office including basic Word, Excel and Outlook; good communication skills; and must be available for overtime and weekends.
