We are seeking a dynamic Lead HVAC Technician to join our team. This role is open to both Assistant Chiefs and Leads who are eager to contribute to a rapidly growing enterprise. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and requires availability from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties one out of every seven weeks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and install HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, exhaust equipment, and other building systems.
- Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls, performing necessary repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Demonstrate professional competence and attention to detail to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of HVAC experience with a MA Refrigeration license.
- Experience with chillers, cooling towers, control systems, and pumps.
- Technical proficiency in HVAC, mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and building automation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in life science or pharmaceutical environments is a significant advantage.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain high levels of service.
- Knowledge of fire panels and fire systems.
- Comfortable with on-call duties.

Work Environment
This position is based at the Breakthrough Properties Life Science Campus at Harvard, a 500,000 square foot facility with lab spaces that are not mandatory to enter. The building offers a modern work environment with a central chiller plant and advanced building automation systems.
