Direct Counsel is partnering with a top-tier technology and life sciences law firm seeking Corporate Associates for its dynamic and internationally recognized corporate practice. This group advises some of the most innovative startups and high-growth companies in the world—from early-stage disruptors to mature, publicly traded market leaders.

About the Role

The firm is seeking attorneys with 3+ years of sophisticated corporate law experience, specifically within:

• Startup and emerging company representation

• Venture capital financings (company- and investor-side)

• General corporate governance

• Strategic counseling for founders and high-growth teams

Candidates must bring:

• Prior law firm experience (in-house experience is welcomed with a firm foundation)

• A strong affinity for technology and life sciences clients

• Excellent drafting, communication, and relationship-building skills

• Superior academic credentials

• Bar admission (or eligibility to sit/waive in) in the office’s jurisdiction

This role offers meaningful client-facing responsibility and the opportunity to work with companies at the forefront of innovation—supporting them from formation through fundraising, growth, and beyond.

About the Practice

The corporate group is known globally for its deep experience representing emerging companies and venture investors. The team handles formation, financings, strategic transactions, governance, and day-to-day operational matters for companies building the next generation of breakthrough technologies.

Offices include:

• Bay Area (Mountain View & San Francisco)

• Seattle

• Santa Monica

• Boston

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $260,000 – $390,000

• Discretionary performance bonus
