This is a Contract-to-Hire Data Entry Specialist position.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible to provide administrative support to the Quoting department. This includes extracting information from customers documentation and imputing into our quoting system. Duties also include inputting RAW, FINISHED GOODS part numbers, BOM and ROUTER creation and management within our ERP system.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Provide administrative support to engineering for inputting Bill of Materials as well as raw and finished goods part number entry into our ERP systems i.e. Oracle, S2K and others as need be.
- Support the Request for Quotation process by inputting data into MS-Excel, and researching component information as needed to support the Quote Dept.
- Provide “special customer demanded” documentation support for Engineering.
- Generating Purchase req’s for new tooling or test mates as need be.
- Maintaining Component database ensure information contained is current and accurate.
- Assist other departments as needed when current work load allows.
- Travel to other company locations as needed.
- Support the company’s Quality Policy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma
- Proficient with MS-Windows and MS-Office
- MS-Visio experience a plus
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite application
- 3-5 years in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably electronic assembly.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Up to 5% travel may be required to support other company location as needed
