Overview
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Planning Manager to lead purchasing, planning, and inventory management within a high-volume contract manufacturing environment. This role supports customers across defense, aerospace, and consumer electronics, with a strong focus on small PCB components and complex manufacturing operations.
This is a hands-on leadership position with high visibility, responsible for aligning supply chain strategy with customer demand while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead purchasing, materials, and production planning functions
- Own demand planning, capacity planning, and ERP planning parameters
- Optimize inventory levels, turns, and overall materials flow
- Partner directly with customers to align forecasts and demand signals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction, and operational excellence
- Ensure supply chain readiness to support high-volume, high-mix manufacturing programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8–10+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or materials management
- Background in contract manufacturing strongly preferred
- Experience supporting defense, aerospace, and/or consumer electronics customers a plus
- Familiarity with small PCB components and high-volume manufacturing environments
- Strong ERP, Excel, and analytical skills
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or similar) preferred
