Senior Art Director

Market Mentors is seeking a Senior Art Directorwho is a hands-on, high-performing creative leader. This role is for someone who thrives on ownership, accountability, and results and who remains actively involved in execution every day.
This is not a purely managerial role. You will be on the keyboard daily, producing high-quality creative work while also leading the team. You must be goal-oriented, deadline-driven, and motivated by delivering strong outcomes for clients and the agency.
About the Role

Collaboration is essential to this role. You will work in close partnership with our
Content Director to align strategy, storytelling, and design, ensuring consistently phenomenal, high-impact creative output across all channels.
This role blends creative leadership, hands-on production, and performance accountability. You will be expected to contribute directly to client success while elevating the creative team through example.
Key Focus Areas
1. Hands-On Creative Leadership
As a senior practitioner of visual communication and persuasion, you will:
- Personally design and produce creative across print, digital, email, web, and advertising
- Translate strategy into goal-driven creative concepts and campaigns that deliver results
- Develop brand systems, visual standards, and presentation approaches
- Lead by doing, remaining deeply involved in execution, refinement, and final delivery
- Take ownership of quality, timelines, and outcomes
This role requires a working Senior Art Director who is both creatively driven and performance-focused.
2. PlayerCoach Leadership & Accountability
You will also:
- Lead, coach, and mentor designers and developers while actively contributing alongside them
- Provide clear, actionable feedback and set expectations for excellence
- Model a high-performing, solutions-oriented mindset
- Hold yourself and the team accountable to goals, deadlines, and deliverables
Primary Position Requirements
- Collaborate with account representatives, designers, and clients to define objectives, budgets, and success metrics
- Design and develop static and CMS-based websites from concept through launch
- Establish and maintain the overall visual direction of campaigns
- Execute layouts and define design details, including typography, photography, graphics, animation, and video
- Support production through final delivery with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Self-proof and edit work to ensure consistency and precision
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Stay current on industry trends, tools, and technologies, including SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices, in collaboration with the Content Director
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative, accountable work style
Additional Position Functions
- Provide photographic support on-location or in-house
- Partner with Account Representatives to ensure the creative aligns with client goals
- Create visual assets for internal initiatives and presentations
- Contribute ideas that strengthen the agencys brand, visibility, and thought leadership

Portfolio Requirement
You must include a link to your digital portfolio demonstrating hands-on creative work you personally executed. This role requires clear evidence of active contribution, not just oversight.
