Job Title: Motor Fuels Sales Representative
Department: Sales
Reports To: Sales Manager or Director of Fuel Operations
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: areas of MA and NH
Compensation: Base salary starting at $55,000 annually, plus commission based on sales performance.

Position Summary:

The Motor Fuels Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business through the sale of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, motor oil, and lubricants. The primary focus is on identifying and acquiring new gas station and commercial fuel accounts in designated areas of New Hampshire (NH) and Massachusetts (MA). This is a business development role with limited emphasis on managing existing accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for and acquire new gas station, wholesale, and commercial fuel customers.

  • Conduct site visits and in-person meetings to present product offerings and service capabilities.

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations that communicate the benefits and differentiators of the company's petroleum products.

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and fuel supply contracts in alignment with company targets.

  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to support seamless onboarding and delivery execution.

  • Track and report on lead generation, pipeline activity, and sales performance.

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the petroleum, energy, or industrial sectors.

  • Strong sales acumen and understanding of fuel products and their commercial applications.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Highly self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within assigned regions of NH and MA.
