Position Overview
The Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service, outstanding hospitality, and seamless guest experiences. This individual will lead, coach, and support the service team while working closely with the General Manager to achieve financial, operational, and guest satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and hospitality.
- Manage, schedule, and train front-of-house staff to maintain service excellence.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development initiatives.
- Monitor dining room performance and guest feedback, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and culinary leadership to ensure alignment of service and kitchen operations.
- Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in managing labor costs, budgets, and operational efficiencies.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of front-of-house management experience in upscale, high-volume dining.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, train, and motivate a team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the seasonal nature of the business.
