Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced permanent basis. This position is part of a larger team where individual members may not possess all the listed skills or experiences, but collectively the team covers the full range of expertise required on the OmniPlus recordkeeping system. The roles with the team consist of: Plan Managers, Plan Administrators, Senior Plan Administrators, Client Onboarding Professionals, Plan Conversion Analysts, and Compliance Analysts.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated Proficiency with OmniPlus Platform: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the OmniPlus system, including its functionalities and modules, to manage various types of retirement plan transactions effectively.
  • Extensive Experience in Transaction Processing: Proven expertise in handling contributions (money in), distributions (money out), adjustments, and reconciliations, with a solid track record of ensuring efficiency and accuracy in transaction processing.
  • In-depth Knowledge of NIGO Transactions: Familiarity with Not In Good Order (NIGO) transactions, including identifying, categorizing, and resolving issues to ensure transactions meet compliance and client standards.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Understanding: Knowledge and experience working with regulatory requirements, particularly those related to Form 5500 reporting, ensuring that all processed transactions align with established compliance standards.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify discrepancies, validate information, and ensure accuracy in every step of the transaction processing workflow, minimizing errors and mitigating risks.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze transaction issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions that align with both client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Customer Service Focus: Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, address inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
  • Autonomous Work Capability: Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining productivity without the need for direct supervision.
  • Team Collaboration Skills: Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve complex issues and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Technological Proficiency: Strong technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), remote collaboration tools, and a comfort level with learning and using new technologies or systems as required.

Opportunities Across Our Retirement Services Team: We are a hiring for several roles across our retirement services team, including Plan Managers, Plan Administrators, Senior Plan Administrators, Client Onboarding Professionals, Plan Conversion Analysts, and Compliance Analysts. Plan Managers:

  • Primary Duties: Oversee the administration of retirement plans, managing client relationships and ensuring plan compliance. Lead a team of Plan Administrators and coordinate with other stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely service.
  • Qualifications: Extensive experience in retirement plan management, including a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and the OmniPlus system. Strong leadership and client relationship management skills are essential.

Plan Administrators (Pay-In and Pay-Out Experience):

  • Primary Duties: Support Plan Managers in servicing both internal and external client relationships, ensuring efficient and accurate plan administration, especially in pay-in and pay-out processes. Use OmniPlus and other recordkeeping systems to handle transactions, reporting, and corrective work as needed.
  • Qualifications: Experience in daily retirement plan administration with OmniPlus is preferred, along with strong customer service skills and an understanding of contributions and distributions within retirement plans.

Senior Plan Administrators (Transitions, Adjustments, and Reconciliation Experience):

  • Primary Duties: Manage complex plan transitions, adjustments, and reconciliation activities, collaborating closely with Plan Managers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. Support process improvement initiatives, working with leadership to develop scalable processes.
  • Qualifications: Prior experience with OmniPlus in managing plan transitions, adjustments, and reconciliation is essential. Strong analytical skills, independent project management, and attention to detail are critical to success in this role.

Client Onboarding Professionals (Large Plan Experience):

  • Primary Duties: Coordinate the onboarding of large retirement plans, facilitating smooth and timely transitions onto OmniPlus. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Client Management Services, Plan Sponsors, and Operations, to meet client needs.
  • Qualifications: Hands-on experience with OmniPlus and onboarding large plans. Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Plan Conversion Analysts:

  • Primary Duties: Manage the conversion of retirement plans from other platforms onto OmniPlus, ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Work closely with clients and internal teams to execute conversions effectively and address any challenges that arise during the process.
  • Qualifications: Experience in retirement plan conversions, particularly involving the OmniPlus system. Strong technical and analytical skills, with a focus on data integrity and compliance, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.

Compliance Analysts:

  • Primary Duties: Ensure retirement plan processes and transactions comply with all applicable regulations and internal standards. Conduct regular audits, identify areas of non-compliance, and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions. Support the development and maintenance of compliance documentation and reporting.
  • Qualifications: Strong understanding of retirement plan regulations, including Form 5500 requirements. Experience in compliance monitoring, audits, and regulatory reporting within the retirement services industry. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities for All Roles:

  • Support Plan Managers by providing research on recordkeeping systems (OmniPlus, Salesforce, RPS) around reporting, transactional history, and corrective actions.
  • Complete assigned projects effectively and accurately, collaborating with Plan Managers and other stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives by identifying procedural opportunities and building scalable processes.
  • Work independently with moderate oversight by team leadership.

Experience and Key Performance Indicators:

  • Preferred Experience: Prior experience in daily retirement plan administration is required.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Consistent, professional communication with plan sponsors, accurate and timely project execution, and consistent use of recordkeeping systems.

Key Stakeholders:

  • External: Plan Sponsors (structured email communication).
  • Internal: Client Management Services, Participant Service Center, Operations.
