WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS AN EDUCATION FUNDING SPECIALIST

As a full-time Education Funding Specialist at Granite Edvance in Concord, NH, you will be the go-to expert providing guidance, in one-on-one and in larger group settings, on FAFSA, scholarships, loan repayment, and financial aid to help students achieve their educational dreams. Not only will you be empowering individuals with financial literacy knowledge, but you will also play a key role in increasing access to Granite Edvance products and services. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
This dynamic role requires strong written and verbal communication skills to assist students with FAFSA, scholarships, and financial aid procedures. Your experience in fields such as financial aid, college admissions, financial literacy, and/or school counseling will be invaluable as you navigate the complexities of education funding. As a solution-driven, empathetic professional, your ability to engage with diverse groups and present information effectively will be essential.
You'll travel regularly to schools, partners, conferences, and meetings within and occasionally outside of New Hampshire, spreading awareness of Granite Edvance products and services. This role will also require some evening and weekend hours for presentations, appointments, or other activities. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Experience in fields such as financial aid, college admissions, financial literacy, and/or school counseling.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public-speaking skills with an ability to interact with a wide range of participants and groups of all sizes.
- Up to 80% travel within, and occasionally, outside of New Hampshire.
- Ability to work between the hours of 8am and 8pm with flexibility to work evening hours up to 3-4 nights per week based on business need.
