Position Summary
Our client is looking for a Business Systems & Sales Operations Analyst to join their team. This position serves as a critical link between sales, operations, and technology teams, ensuring a smooth setup and support experience for new and renewed insurance clients. This role combines technical problem-solving with business process insight to optimize how client-facing systems are configured, maintained, and improved. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about helping internal teams and clients succeed through efficient processes and reliable systems.


Primary Responsibilities

Client System Setup & Integration

  • Lead the configuration and launch of client portals, enrollment tools, and digital platforms for new and renewing insurance clients.
  • Ensure all systems and access points are accurately set up for clients, brokers, and internal users.
  • Partner with internal departments to meet compliance, regulatory, and data integrity standards.
  • Maintain clear documentation for configurations, timelines, and process checkpoints.

Technical Operations & Support

  • Serve as a go-to resource for troubleshooting system or user issues, coordinating with IT and development teams for resolution.
  • Test and validate new system enhancements, updates, and technical releases.
  • Manage shared support channels, ensuring prompt, accurate responses to user and client requests.
  • Monitor performance of platforms and identify recurring issues or areas for improvement.

Process Development & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate current workflows, identify process gaps, and recommend automation or efficiency enhancements.
  • Document new procedures and provide training to team members on best practices and system usage.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to translate operational needs into actionable system requirements.
  • Contribute to cross-departmental initiatives focused on service quality, system usability, and operational accuracy.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with Sales Operations, Client Services, and Enrollment teams to align system functionality with client and business goals.
  • Support proposal and RFP activities as needed, ensuring systems and processes align with client expectations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize projects and maintain transparency around system updates and deliverables.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in insurance operations, systems administration, or sales operations preferred.
  • Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with CRM or enrollment platforms is a plus.
