Compensation Consultant
We are currently seeking candidates for a Compensation Consultant opportunity with a highly successful organization located in Boston, MA. The Compensation Consultant will administer compensation programs and processes, including performing market analysis and pricing, conducting internal equity reviews and job evaluations, and providing recommendations and guidance on salary, bonuses, and incentive plans. The ideal candidate will have 6-8+ years of compensation consulting experience within a highly regulated industry.
This is a 5+ month contract role paying between $65-$73/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting of 3 onsite days and 2 remote days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to compensation programs and compensation administration processes.
- Utilize survey data to perform market pricing and analysis for compensation processes.
- Provide recommendations and guidance on salary, bonuses, market data, etc.
- Analyze market surveys and market data.
- Prepare data reporting and analysis to inform compensation decision-making.
- Perform equity, incentive, and year-end merit compensation planning.
- Contribute to internal equity reviews and conduct job evaluations.
- Participate in compensation project planning, coordination, and execution.
- Collaborate with HR leaders and business partners to ensure strong understanding of compensation policies.
- Work closely with HR reporting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data managed in HRIS.
- Provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- 6-8+ years of compensation experience in a highly regulated industry. Must have strong experience managing base salary compensation and incentive compensation plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
- Previous HRIS experience (Workday preferred).
- Strong understanding of compensation laws and regulations, including strong knowledge of FLSA.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Great analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
