Customer Service Representative – Remote
Pay:
$21–22/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm EST
Contract Length: 3 months, with potential to extend or convert
Location: Fully Remote

Required Experience

  • 1–3 years of retail customer service or call center experience
  • Customer service experience via phone, chat, or social media
  • Recent college graduates encouraged to apply (degree not required)

Job Summary

We’re seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team and support customers across multiple communication channels. You’ll be responsible for answering customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining brand voice across email, phone, chat, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, letters, and social media.
  • Resolve sensitive and complex customer concerns using strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Communicate with District Managers, Store Managers, and Home Office staff to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
  • Document customer interactions in the tracking system, ensuring accurate coding and timely updates.
  • Monitor and respond to customer comments/questions on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
  • Follow social media moderation guidelines, escalating serious issues as needed.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to remain professional, objective, and empathetic under pressure
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace
  • Proficiency with PC tools (email, MS Word, Excel) and typing skills
  • Social media moderation experience preferred
  • Team player with flexibility and multitasking ability
