Job Overview:

Jassby, Inc is a fintech company that provides debit and credit card solutions to consumers and business clients.

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Director of Loss Forecasting to assess the performance, growth, and risk management of our credit card programs. This role requires deep expertise in credit data analysis across multiple card portfolios, and a strong understanding of the full credit lifecycle from acquisition through collections.


The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in loss and P&L forecasting, risk mitigation strategies, credit performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience with modern fintech platforms like i2c (card processing) and Alloy (identity and risk decisioning) is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities:


Credit Data Analysis & Reporting

    • Maintain the short and long-term credit product forecast to the gross margin line, including loss forecasts.
    • Analyze credit performance data (delinquencies, charge-offs, utilization, payment behavior, etc.) and derive actionable insights to optimize credit policy and product performance.
    • Serve as the primary owner for credit facility and bank covenants, audits, and reporting.
    • Work with the CFO to provide projections to support the Chief Credit Officer in prospective client evaluations.
    • Suggest portfolio strategies, including credit line management, pricing, and customer segmentation.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, and Development to advance new features, acquisition strategies, and servicing enhancements.
    • Ensure alignment across departments on credit policy, fraud management, and customer experience.
    • Provide VP of Risk and CFO supplemental reports and analysis of credit risk and fraud trends across credit card products.
    • Contribute to regulatory reporting, audits, and compliance reviews as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 57 years of experience in credit risk and loss forecasting within the credit card industry.
  • Deep understanding of credit data, scorecard development, and credit policy optimization.
  • Proficiency in Excel modeling and functionality.
  • Strong background in managing multiple credit card portfolios across different customer segments.
  • Hands-on experience with fintech platforms such as i2c and Alloy strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Experience launching or scaling new credit card products.
  • Experience in fintech or digital banking environments.
  • Proficiency in data query tools (SQL, Python, SAS, or similar) preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
