Position Overview
The Delivery Driver is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate deliveries that reflect our commitment to excellent customer service. This role ensures that every order leaves the restaurant on time, arrives in perfect condition, and is delivered with a positive attitude. Drivers represent the business in the community, making professionalism, reliability, and strong communication essential.
In addition to deliveries, the Delivery Driver supports in‑store operations as needed, including order packaging, light prep, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. A successful driver is punctual, safety‑minded, and able to navigate routes efficiently during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all orders leave the restaurant complete, properly packaged, and on time
- Safely operate a personal vehicle while following all traffic laws and company safety guidelines
- Communicate with the restaurant team regarding order status, delays, or delivery issues
- Handle payments, receipts, and customer interactions with accuracy and courtesy
- Assist with in‑store tasks when not on the road, including packaging orders, light prep, and maintaining cleanliness
- Verify order accuracy before leaving the restaurant and upon delivery
- Maintain a clean, reliable vehicle suitable for food delivery
- Support peak‑time operations by staying organized, responsive, and efficient
- Represent the business positively in the community through friendly, respectful customer service
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and a clean, reliable vehicle suitable for food delivery
- Proof of insurance and a safe driving record
- Strong knowledge of local roads, neighborhoods, and efficient routing
- Ability to handle cash, receipts, and mobile payment systems accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift and carry food orders, beverage cases, and delivery bags
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, especially during peak hours
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with the in‑store team
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and high‑volume shifts
