JOB TITLE: Flower Processing Technician
AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:
- Reports directly to the Flower Processing Coordinators
- Additional oversight from the Assistant Flower Processing Manager and the Flower Processing Manager
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setup and breakdown the Harvest Room
- Cut and hang product to dry
- Buck and trim dry flower
- Manicure and prepare flower
- Perform visual quality control of marijuana flower product
- Weigh and record yield on designated chart
- Dispose of daily waste
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment
- Maintain communication with management
- On occasion, you may be asked to cross train or assist in other departments or positions, such as Finished Goods or Cultivation
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be proactive, have strong work ethic, and pay great attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
- Must pass all required background checks
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends
- Must be, and continue to remain, fully compliant with all laws, regulations, and company policies
- Frequently moves up to 30 pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance)
- This job function may include being in a stationary position or moving for extended periods of time
- Must be comfortable working in a variable environment including high temperatures and humidity
- Comfortable working on lifts / heavy equipment and heights over 6 feet off the ground
