Job DescriptionSalary: $75,000-100,000

PURPOSE

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to management and employees by aligning business objectives with HR initiatives and practices. This role provides comprehensive HR support across multiple locations, including compliance oversight, employee relations, performance management, and HR audits. The HRBP ensures that policies, processes, and employee practices are compliant, consistent, and aligned with company goals and values. Contributes to the efficient Masis operations by performing their duties accurately and on time.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists the Chief People Officer (CPO) to partner with management to recommend HR strategies that support organizational goals. Assists to develop and implement these strategies.

Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.

Collaborate with leadership to identify talent gaps and support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.

Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on HR policies and best practices.

Investigate and resolve employee concerns, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.

Support initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

Assists with and resolves internal HR audits (e.g., I-9s, personnel files, E-Verify, background checks, OSHA, leave documentation, and timekeeping). May conduct investigations.

Identify and correct discrepancies or compliance risks; provide recommendations and action plans for improvement.

Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations and client requirements.

Ensures the maintenance of accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with legal and company requirements.

Partner with corporate HR to prepare for external audits or inspections.

Provide recommendations, review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.

Lead or support HR projects related to process optimization, system implementation, or training.

Provide education and coaching to managers on HR policies, compliance, and employee relations.

Generate and analyze HR reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).

At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multi-site or regional role.

Strong understanding of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.) and compliance standards.

Experience conducting HR or compliance audits.

Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and audit tracking tools.

PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Routine office environment and various customer location visits. May require extended daily work schedule, occasional weekends, and extensive travel.
