Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide dedicated 1:1 medical support for a high school student with significant medical needs. This position ensures the student can safely attend school by providing care during transportation and throughout the school day.
Student Care Needs:

Wheelchair-dependent student
-
G/J tube feedings and care
-
Suctioning required
-
Seizure care knowledge necessary
-
Hoyer lift available for all lifting and transfers
Daily Schedule & Transportation:
-
Morning pick-up at the students home between 7:007:30 AM

Travel with the student on the school bus to the school site

Provide nursing care during the school day

Afternoon return trip departs around 2:303:00 PM
-
Transportation is included as part of the assignment
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with the students healthcare plan

Monitor and respond to medical needs throughout the day

Support safe mobility and positioning using provided equipment

Communicate with school staff and caregivers as appropriate

Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts RN license (required)

Experience with medically complex or pediatric patients preferred

Ability to provide consistent, compassionate 1:1 care
