- Assist the Pastry Chef with daily production of breads, pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Execute recipes consistently while maintaining quality, presentation, and portion standards
- Support menu development, specials, and seasonal items as directed
- Assist with prep, baking, finishing, and plating of pastry items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and storage areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Help manage inventory, labeling, rotation, and proper storage of ingredients
- Communicate production needs and potential issues to the Pastry Chef
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Step in to lead pastry production in the Pastry Chef’s absence when needed
