Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A high school-based clinical social work position is available to provide vital social, emotional, and behavioral support to students in a drop-in counseling model. This contract role serves approximately 24 high school students, offering individual sessions, small group support, and crisis management. The clinician will work full time (35 hours per week) through June 25, 2026.
Location: Holyoke, MA (High school setting)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group support to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Manage a caseload of around 24 high school students
- Respond to crisis situations and provide timely interventions
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student well-being
- Maintain documentation related to counseling sessions and student progress
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
- Prior school-based clinical experience working with high school students
- Ability to handle crisis management professionally and calmly
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
- Must successfully complete drug screening, fingerprinting, and background checks
Additional Details:
- Contract position from ASAP through June 25, 2026
- Full-time schedule, 35 hours per week
- Interview conducted via Zoom (15-30 minutes)
