Job Summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnered with a well-established specialty chemical manufacturing company in the Manchester, New Hampshire area to help them hire a Process Engineer. This role supports a manufacturing operation producing customer specific polymer products in an industrial environment. The Process Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining process stability, supporting production, and driving improvements tied to quality, efficiency, and future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations in a continuous production environment
- Lead root cause analysis for quality, process, and production issues and implement corrective actions
- Evaluate process performance and identify optimization and standardization opportunities
- Serve as a technical escalation point for supervisors and operations teams
- Assess feasibility of new customer formulations prior to production to prevent scrap and delays
- Analyze process data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support training and communication related to updated procedures and management of change activities
- Collaborate with operations leadership, process improvement, and R&D teams on scale up and expansion projects
Qualifications and Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, Chemical Engineering strongly preferred
- 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial operations
- Experience with chemical processing, plastics, compounding, extrusion, pelletizing, or similar processes
- Strong root cause analysis and data driven problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to operators, supervisors, and leadership
- Comfortable working in a true industrial manufacturing environment
- Experience solely in clean-room, biomedical, or medical device manufacturing is not a fit for this role
Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
