Job Summary:
As aBanking and Payment Compliance Analyst, youll play a critical role in supporting our regulatory compliance function, particularly around consumer protection laws, payment platforms, and bank oversight requests. You will work closely with compliance, operations, legal, and banking partners to ensure our offerings meet the regulatory requirements of Regulation E, Regulation Z, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), UDAAP, and other related laws governing financial products in a FinTech and BaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess compliance with federal consumer financial protection laws, including Reg E (EFT), Reg Z (TILA), FCRA, and UDAAP across products and services.
- Conduct reviews of complaints, transaction disputes, disclosures, and marketing materials to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to advise on compliant design and delivery of consumer banking and lending products.
- Assist in maintaining and improving compliance policies, procedures, controls, and testing programs.
- Support compliance due diligence and ongoing monitoring of third parties.
- Review and escalate findings from transaction monitoring, error resolution, and credit reporting disputes.
- Assist in preparing documentation and responses for audits, regulatory exams, and internal reviews.
Qualifications:
- 23 years of relevant compliance experience in FinTech, banking, or BaaS
- Solid understanding of Reg E, Reg Z, FCRA, UDAAP, and related consumer protection regulations.
- Familiarity with digital payment systems, neobank operations, or credit/lending platforms preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive mindset with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field is a plus.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CRCM, CAMS, CIPP/US) are a plus.
