Description:
We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to support late-stage development activities within a Technical Operations Analytical team. This role will focus on providing analytical support for oligonucleotides, peptides, and peptide-oligonucleotide conjugates, with a strong emphasis on method development, transfer, and validation in a GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support for oligonucleotide and peptide-oligonucleotide conjugated compounds in late-stage development
  • Independently lead analytical method development, transfer, and validation activities
  • Develop and optimize robust analytical methods including LC/MS, IP-RP HPLC, and SAX HPLC for highly modified oligonucleotide drug substances
  • Perform analysis and purification using techniques such as UPLC, LC-MS, and LC-MS/MS
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation
  • Ensure compliance with GLP/GMP standards and documentation requirements
  • Author technical reports, protocols, and validation documentation
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while working independently as an analytical subject-matter expert

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
  • 5+ years of commercial, GMP analytical laboratory experience
  • Hands-on experience with oligonucleotide therapeutics is required
  • Strong background in analytical method development and validation
  • Proficiency with mass spectrometry and purification techniques
  • Experience with RP-HPLC, SAX-HPLC, UPLC, and LC-MS
  • Familiarity with instrumentation from Agilent, Waters, and/or Thermo and associated software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
